I have a deepblue tank (24x24x12) and stand. It has a solid back except for two holes on one side. I need to know if the back offers any support? It looks like all the support comes from the sides. I can push on the back, and it flexes a good bit. Also looking inside the stand there is a small gap between the top and back. The sides are flush with the top, and do not flex with pushed.
I want to cut out a large square hole to run flex pvc out from back.

If you are worried contact DeepBlue. I would say go for it. It don't sound like a load bearing panel. More like a dust cover if its not touching the supporting top.

That is what I am thinking. I mounted the 1/2" conduit on a 2x4 screwed into the back panel, and the panel flexes. I will contact DeepBlue, but want to get it plumbed tomorrow. It will be next week before I can talk with DeepBlue.
