Skimmer was used one year this time last year tried to sell it but decided to keep it. It does need an impeller. I do clean this thing every month and pulling the impeller is a nightmare. The magnet is way too strong. Last time I went to put it back in and it sucked the magnet in and I still had the head in my hand. This would be my third impeller and Iam done messing with it. Any questions please ask.

I found it better not to remove the impeller and clean the pump whilst it is running with citric acid or vinegar. GLWS
