Deltec ap1004 skimmer vs vertex alpha 300

Hey guys I currently have the alpha 300 and was wondering if the deltec ap1004 would be an upgrade? Only concern I have is that The AP1004 produces a maximum level of air of 2400 lts per hour. Where as the alpha 300 is 4200. Call me crazy but I have a brand new in box alpha 300 with red dragon pumps waiting for me back home when I get back as well... skimmers are my favorite equipment in this hobby aha

How big is your tank?

As you already posted. Alpha's like Vertex uses more air than water and Deltec uses more water than air.
