hello everyone , ok so I have this derasa clam ,its about 7 inches across. i have had it for 3 years now and in the last few weeks it's taken to laying on its side. i right it and a few days lets it a back on its side. nothing in the tank can knock it over , lights , filters , everything has been the same since I got it. should I keep fighting it ? or just leave it alone ?

Try to find something to cradle him.a bowl shaped rock or the shell of another clam. That way he can open and close as hr likes without falling over.

As long as u don't wedge it in place. So it can open. A clam on its side is not long for life.
