So I finally got my dream tank! A Deskmate 4.8 gallon tank, but I noticed the stock light has mainly more blues and 4 white leds but in videos I’ve seen and other threads on here I’ve seen they tend to have more whites and 4 blues . Does anybody know why mine is mainly blue? Is it an upgrade or a newer model ? And also does it still grow softies and some LPS?

Congrats. I remember that you really wanted a Deskmate 4.8, and I remember that you got "burned" trying to buy one, and that is really disappointing.

I want to wish you great luck with your 4.8, there's no other tank I'd rather have.

I Have the Deskmate Florida Peninsula, so I cant comment on the stock light, but if you want a fantastic cheap light, I suggest the Noopsyche K7 mini. I use it on mine and it is great.
