I started with a frag Devils hand that I initially thought was a dead SPS skeleton it was so small. I grew that into a colony that was more than 7 inches across and at least that tall. And all that time it just grew it never reproduced. When I moved everything from my biocube to my 90 gallon I cut two fingers off of the devil's hand. One I gave to my local reef shop that was low on inventory. The other I moved into my 90 the main colony I sold. Now in the 90 gallon grew from single finger into a good looking 3 inch colony. Few days back I noticed a tear in the flesh and thought it just got torn by a turbo snail or something. overnight that piece fell off but the scar is not visible on either piece . Just curious as to why it happened now and never on the main colony which was four times the mass.
