Devil's hand not extending

Hi! I got a devil's hand colony from a lady on here. It was doing great in my tank with good polyp extension. My halloween hermit crab knocked it off it's perch 3 days ago, and for the the last two days (yesterday and today) it has not extended it's polyps at all. I was wondering if this is normal or if I should try to do something for it

I would not say normal. While they take a break, often this happens when there is INadequate water flow and they then start to skin over their top(cap). Directing water flow under moderate lighting will keep them opem. You can perk it up with a few gentle blasts of water from a turkey baster.
Then direct water flow over or towards it- Not at it.
