Did I hurt mushroom?!?

I touched the soft part of my eclectus jawbreaker with tissue while drying bottom to mount to a frag plug and a maroon kind of residue was left... is it going to be fine or will it die?!?!

People cut mushroom corals in half to frag them, a bit of irritation isn’t gonna kill it.

these things are almost like a 'plague' if you were to cut it into 10 pieces, they'd all become small mushrooms, as others have said, falling will not kill it, it might be irritated but yeah.

Just gonna add 1 thing: If you ever think about fragging it, NEVER do it in the tank itself, take it out, when fragging it releases toxins that are deadly to other coral & fish at higher concentrations
