Thx for the kind thoughts! Not sure I took pictures of the mud process since it is by far my worse nightmareThis is a cool build you have going. The stands and fish room look great. I think we need more details on how you did the green board though. From the two photos you posted, it does not look like you taped any of the seams or put down mud???
I just build out my fish room and taping and mudding was a huge pain and took forever... and it still did not come out perfect.
Ah, I was like "how the heck did he get that result without mudding!" I was going to be mad. lol How did you like the sticky tape? It seems like it would save a lot of time waiting for the "tape mud" to dry before putting on the first coat of mud.Thx for the kind thoughts! I taped the joints and ran over them several times, sanded and ran over them again, and again. If you look at the finished wall you can see the seam in the middle running across the wall. Oh and this pic shows the tape in place before mud. I used that sticky joint tape, not paper. I have always liked projects but painting and sheet rock, not so much
I like it a lot, I wont use tape anymore. Not that I hope to be doing ANY sheet rock work any time soon but I will always use the sticky tape.Ah, I was like "how the heck did he get that result without mudding!" I don't have plans to do more sheet rock in the near future either, but I'll have to give that stuff a try. Thanks.I like it a lot, I wont use tape anymore. Not that I hope to be doing ANY sheet rock work any time soon but I will always use the sticky tape.

i like your signature...Putting the final coats on the canopy for the 120 and trying to get my butt moving to finish the rockscape....but it's a 'don't wanna' kind of day;Eggonface

Glad it wasn't just me hahahbumped and back... good to see Spot getting better..
Man id listen to better half lol.OK looking for ideas. Better half wants Frag QT. I was thinking hob on 20gal I have sitting here but shes not liking it.
Was also thinking about chopping this down to maybe 8" tall and using small hob. 24 x 18 x 18 (Actually hate to cut it up but..)
Not a full fledged frag tank, just a qt.
What do you think?? @fishguy242 @MERKEY @LRT @sp1187
Agree...Man id listen to better half lol.
Honestly though I'm feeling like at least 12" of water is ideal. Better flow. You can set them deeper if you want. And I just feel like the blend of color spectrum is better a little deeper.
not sure whats going on with the bumps. it happens to me as well. site issue I think..Glad it wasn't just me hahah
