Since this is a none reef post I figured I would spam my own thread 
My wife decided she was going to try and grow an Apple tree.
Started with a bunch of seeds in the bathroom to see how many would grow. She figured out only a few would grow and she might get a tree or two.
Well since nothing seems to ever be a small project around here, we are now left with 36 trees growing on the back deck...;Nailbiting;Nailbiting Seems they all survived the new growth process!
Its going to drop to mid 30's here in a few days and shes wondering if we need to cover them.
Any green thumbs following that may know if we need to??
Should only be mid 30's for a few hours 1 or 2 nights.

My wife loves this tree. I HATE this tree!
She gets to park her car in the garage. My truck and my sons car are in the driveway right next to this tree and it dumps all over them

Wow you got the magic seeds. I didn’t have luck like you on germinating them all.But I am also in a colder climate.

Lol, anything green usually dies when I touch it, but my bathroom has large windows and is almost like a greenhouse, so I started them all there. We just replanted them all and moved them outside. We'll see how many survive now ;Nailbiting

Spent the weekend working on plumbing and getting the frag qt setup.
Now just waiting on the controller for the Gyre and will be making frag stands soon
Rock is in place.. Used some seeded rock and added lots of rubble and reseeded with Biospira.
Still have to figure out a light and lots of setup and wire clean up but its got water!
Ran the 4 lines for the 120 DT from Living to basement and working on the sump plumbing. Gawd I'll be glad when thats all over
Gotta love Foam spray. Messy but gets the job done!

This is what the 2 rooms next to the fish room look like in the basement at the moment
I am actually tackling that tonight because my brother is on his way from PA and will be sleeping in that Murphy bed on the wall in the back room. Right now I cant get at it
The ladders are still in place when I ran the plumbing. 120DT is right above ladder on the right..

I have a light question for the general audience.
I setup the 40breeder for coral QT.
Will either one of these lights work to grow coral??
I really dont want to trust the older long t5 light but will give it a try if the Odyssea is not good enough.
