difference between bubble algae & just bubbles in algae?

Sorry in advance for the newb question, but in my sump I have bubbles in/on my GHA. How can I tell the difference between bubble algae and just regular bubbles on/in my algae?

Bubbles in algea looks like the bubbles are coming out of the algae. Bubble algea is shaped like bubbles

Air bubbles look like bubbles. Bubble algae looks like little green marbles (or red if you have red algae).

Bubble algae is hard and tough, shiny too. Unmistakable once you see it.
