difference between Momentive rtv 108 and 100 series

What I ordered was momentive rtv 108. What I got is Momentive rtv 100 series adhesives. I'm just using it to reseal the inside of a 75 I'm using for a sump. Will this work or do I need to order the 103 or 108?

From a little reading I'm pretty sure that you got The right stuff. Is there any more info on the tube? the difference in the last number is color, 108 is clear 103 is black. They are both in the "100" series. Hope that makes sense.

My research has come to the same conclusion. All the 100 series is practically the same formula. Just different colors.

I think this may just be white and not clear. It says RTV 100 series silicone rubber adhesive sealant. High performance adhesive. Mil-A-46106B Compliance

I say open the tube and see. If it's just for a sump and you don't mind if it turns out being white I would use it.
