What’s the temp on the tank?
77 -79 F

I went back today to the shop
which sold me the acantho and he showed me one, because he's got several dozen, and he showed me one that had been bleached out and that he put aside into a darker area and he says he's rehabing it. Also, I bought a torch and he thought , he was pretty clearly sure that it was a holy Grail torch, but he couldn't be 100% sure so he sold it to me just as a regular green torch for $75 which he says but normally be like $300 so I'm not sure if I got a holy Grail or a green torch. I hope I have a holy Grail. here's a picture of the green torch i bought which may be a holy Grail Idk and his bleached out acantho that he's rehabbing. he has dozens of beautiful acanthos and I wanted to buy another it was gonna sell me a nice one for $250, but then he was in telling me to wait, I should wait figure out what's going on. He showed me a whole list of things that they test for which obviously we know all these parameters, but the fact that they have to have a list and every few days test for nutrients and all parameters and like it's such a regimen. Who has a list they go by?
i'm just wondering if it all comes down to par. Cause I noticed in the evening when my LEDs spike down and go to like 10% blue 2% white things seem to flourish. perhaps my 90 W red sea led puts out a lot more par than I would've thought. Or maybe I have too little par, but it doesn't seem like that.

You might want to think about a par meter. I like having one I can pull out and use when necessary. There are some decent budget ones on the market. Par meter for reef

You might be able to find someone near you to borrow one. Local aquarium club?
