Different montipora touching?

What is everybody's experience with different monti's touching? I'm talking about encrusting touching digi and cap. Do you typically see one killing off the other? Or a stalemate?

What about different encrusters touching?

I have an area of my tank that I'm considering dedicating for monti and trying to plan it out.

It's going to depend on the specific species in question but expect different species to have issues. Who wins in a territory battle usually goes to the faster growing one but again actual outcome will be species specific.

Since my big monti cap is low in the tank and is a fast grower I use it as a frag rack for my other sps and lps. I have some tubbs growing into some forest fire digi. I’ll let ya know how it goes
