So this is my first post after many years of reading!
I almost feel embarrassed to post as I'm sure this has been answered elsewhere numerous times.
I have been struggling with dinos for approx 6 months now, i've never given up! Dinos originally appeared after nitrate bottomed out.
Since discovering dinos i've made sure my nitrate and phos don't go below 5.0 and 0.05. Which i've managed to maintain mostly.
I have tried:
3 day blackout fully wrapped (dinos just come back after 3/4 days.
UV sterlizer (checked for correct flow etc)
manual removal using 50 micron filter socks
using 50 micron filter socks in every day use and changing out every morning
I still don't appear to be anywhere near turning the tide if that makes sense! And wondered if people had similar instances and what finally worked for them?
I attached a photo of the dinos, which I am struggling to ID specific type. Microscope magnification: 10/0.25
Any and help welcome please
(This tank is 11 months old FYI)
