So I added a Kessil H80 to my refugium to get better chaeto growth.

Since its installation on December 25th, the chato has completely exploded with growth and fills my fuge, and I've noticed a Dino outbreak since adding this light.

I want to pull the chaeto out of the refugium for a week or two to get the dino in check.

What is the correct way to store my chaeto until I put it back in?

I've had it before... it is a dino outbreak. In the past, I removed the chato and within a week or two, it cleared up.

But I want to save the chaeto for use later. I was looking for suggestions on how to keep it stored until I put it back in.

I'm thinking tank water with the chaeto, a power head and my fuge light.

I'm thinking tank water with the chaeto, a power head and my fuge light.

Do this in a old tank or plastic container. Feed it some frozen and it will continue to grow. water change every now and then from your display water change... only need to light for 6hrs also
