Get a ****** aglae turf scrubber they said. It'll be great they said.

Kidding aside, it is great, but I would caution anyone going down this road to test for nitrates and phosphates weekly for a while, so you don't bottom out and likely end up with dinos.

Don't have a microscope, so not sure, but pretty dang sure its ostreopsis again, and it definitely goes away at night.

I've been following @vetteguy53081 's advice, except that I wanted to keep lights on (15%, then just 5%) because I do have a fair amount of corals that want to drink light.

I've finally decided today that my dinos can thrive on just a tiny bit of light, so today started lights out for at least 2 days, which is all it took last time to beat these dang things.

But for almost two weeks I've been dosing microbakter7 and h202 and very low light, and I have a 40w pentair UV plumbed in as well.... Almost daily vacuuming as well.

Only thing I can think of is lights out at this point, so hopefully by the end of the weeking I'll be able to turn them back on.

I’ve beat them many times and it’s actually easy.
Purchase some Nyos phosphate and Nitrate and a Hannah checker for each.
Monitor and keep your nitrate at 10 and phosphate 0.1
Use poly pad and a chip clip and hang in the display not the sump! Very important.
Rinse the pad at least twice a day but the more the better and within a week those Dino’s will go away.
Lights out kills your corals and never works unless you are monitoring and adjusting your nitrate to phosphate balance.
Also what grade of h2o2 are you using?
I made the mistake once of using regular old h2o2 from the grocery store.
And ended up with tin in my system and it started killing my corals!
