DIP YOUR CORALS

Today’s reminder to DIP YOUR CORAL especially if the source is questionable. These are what came off of my new zoas. There were a dozen or more wriggling around and very much alive.

Please tell me you have a microscope or macro lens sitting around somewhere and can put one of those guys under it?

Those could be Tanaids or small Amphipods, but obviously it's too blurry to properly identify.

That nearly looks like a fish-larvae, but I doubt it would hitchhike on a zoa frag.

Potential flatworm?

IME dips remove pods, amphipods, bristleworms.... basically the good stuff, but they don't remove the true pests: aptaisia, clove polyps, hydroids, vermatids, etc....

I've killed way more amphipods with dips than anything else I still do it out of habit though.
