Hey Guys i've made the mistake of not dipping 6 corals in my new tank. 2 Zoanthids, 2 Montipora, a torch coral, and a Frammer. I've not seen any sign of pests besides some vermatids which I clipped off of the frammer. Now i'm noticing tissue damage and little white things on my montipora i'm suspecting nudibranches.
I'm thinking of trying bayer dip for everything and i've read quite a bit but i'm nervous about trying to remove my zoanthids from their plugs, one is actually on a small chunk of rock. I don't know how I'm going to remove it. Am i wasting my time by dipping these corals aside from the montipora and just take my chances? I'm ordering new plugs for everything else but i'm really stumped on what to do with this zoa that's on the rock.
Can I RO dip the zoas especially the one that i'm not sure about removing from the rock and Bayer everything else? Thoughts or reccomendations would be really helpful as i'm a bit apprehensive at trying my first hand at this!
