Disassemble a glass tank

I have a 33 gallon glass tank prefab, any tips on totally disassebling and removing silicone ?

pull the plastic trim off use a razor to take all the silicone you can see off the tank and use fishing line to cut the glass apart

I just did it to a 75g tank

Wish I had seen this the other day. It was only a 10 gallon test tank I was taking apart. I will definately remember the fishing line trick now though.. I chipped to much glass using the blades to breat the glass to glass seals.

I used a single strand from aircraft cable, just moding mainreefers idea: also i pickt up asetone from hd and it softens the stuff up :)

Piano wire is safer than blades and easier to use...;)
