Disassembling and Reassembling Custom Stand

Hi! I was wondering if I could get an opinion or two regarding disassembling an aquarium stand. I actually bought one - 72 x 24 - but unfortunately live in a small place and I’m not able to get it into my apartment despite trying a few different ways. I’m afraid I will have to disassemble it. I’m just wondering, will doing so affect it structurally? Would taking the screws out and reassembling / screwing it back together make it not structurally sound? Any advice is appreciated. Stand is similiar to the one pictured.

U can take it apart and reassemble it stronger then it was, use wood glue, better screws, add better supporting pieces.
