One of my Discosomas has been struggling for a few days after a suspected chalice sting. Mouth Open and somewhat shrunken. This morning, I found it detached from its plug and melting. In a last ditch effort, I cut off the corner of the mushroom that was not melting and gave it an iodine dip to beat back any infection. Unfortunately, this portion of the mushroom does not have a mouth. I’ve dropped it in a cup filled with rubble, but I was wondering if it has a chance of recovery? What can I do to maximize its chances?

Well I ripped a Frankenstein mushroom off my frag rack tearing some flesh from the underside of it . It was just white stuff from the underneath. Now the two pieces that was just , well nothing tbh is growing in to new Frankenstein mushrooms .. I think you might be ok
