Our 75 gallon reef tank has started to show signs of ich. It started with one fish having a few white spots on its fin but it has spread to numerous fish now. We started up a QT tank last night and are starting to treat the fish with coppersafe. We are also going to let the DT run fallow for 76 days as per the sticky on this website.
My main concern is in regards to all of the tools that we used during the transition process from the main tank to the QT and all of the tools that we currently use in the DT. What is the proper way to clean and disinfect them to prevent the transfer of ich? The tools are buckets, siphon, nets, glass scraper, etc.
