I have 2 dispar Anthias in a 3 month old set up. They have been in the tank for about a month & are doing extremely well. Im feeding pellets & mysis twice / day. They are great eaters. I’ve recently read that they need a constant supply of food & do best with copepods from a refugium. Is this true? Is it possible to provide long term nutrition without a refugium? I want to make sure that I’m providing the nutrition that they need for long term success!
Thanks in advance!

You can try live foods too. Black and /or white worms.

That's not correct. Most copepods live on the rocks/glass. Most Anthias eat from the water column, they don't pick off the substrate. In the wild, they eat zooplankton that flows past them. I kept my dispars for about 5 years, their primary diet was NLS pellets (autofeeder feeding 3 times a day) with a feeding or two a day of frozen meaty food, pe mysis mostly.

I'd up the feedings to 3-4 times a day, but no need to change what you're feeding.
