Distance between torch coral and Duncan

Hello fellow reefers,

So the other half has bought me a torch coral today as she knows it’s the one coral I really want that I haven’t got yet. It’s been in my tank now for 2 hours and is opening up really well, where I’ve currently placed it it’s only about 3 inches away from my Duncan, is this too close? Don’t want my torch to sting my Duncan.

Thank you, do sweepers mainly come out when the lights are off or do they come out at any time?

Mainly at night but they can come out during daylight hours
