I ordered a group of fish from divers den a few weeks ago. First time in many years. Wow, they looked terrible when they showed up. 2 were DOA. the other 4 looked like they had not been fed in weeks. The other 4 died within 24 hours. They did refund my money, but will never order fish from there ever again.

I am sorry this happened. Were they packaged well?

What happened with the Pyramid last night had nothing to do with Divers Den. And he is doing well again. Still makes me not want to order more from them hearing reviews like yours.

How much do you dose per gallon? Have you lost fish using it? Thanks!

Well I almost lost the Pyramid last night. There has been a persistent ammonia issue. Kept rising no matter what I did. Doing large water changes daily. And retreating new water with the chloroquine phosphate. Last night after the water change he wouldn't calm down. Very erratic swimming.
So at midnight I decided to move it. I was sure he would be dead by morning otherwise. Moved into another qt tank with no ammonia and no cp. Figured I might as well move the other 3 also. I was doing this by a hallway light to not stress them unduly. Caught the 2 Bengaii cardinal's. Then couldn't find the royal gramma. Spent an hour searching. Emptied the closet and went through everything. Even looked in the cat box and down the vents. Went to bed feeling defeated.
Checked the tank first thing this morning. Pyramid looked great. And apparently in the gloomy room I caught a royal gramma with the second bangaii! Because there he was.
So now I have to decide if I want to treat again or observe for 30 days. They were short time in the CP. By almost 2 days. I could have overdosed with all the water changes. Or the ammonia and the CP were too much. Maybe start out with 15 mg and see how they do. Right now in a qt. with 8 mollies I had been acclimating to saltwater. The pyramid wants to eat the babies in a floating hatchery.

I always check ammonia twice a day. I would not normally have had the other 3 fish in with the pyramid. But had thought I wasn't getting it. And had just picked up the other 3 earlier.

The ammonia was .25 I think there is a possibility that I also added more Chloroquine during the water changes. Well I won't know for sure. But going forward I'll be more careful.
