Any concern about water spills collecting around the cabinet/floor interface? I decided to put a kitchen floor mat under my stand. The pretty sure my wood floor wouldn't last long otherwise.
My floor where the tank is isn’t real wood. It’s vinyl flooring in concrete. I’m more worried about the stand getting wet and swelling. I’m just going to lay towels around and be careful when I’m working on the tank.

First time hard plumbing. Hopefully it sits as well when glued
Do you have 2 drains? And do they both work at the same time? Im trying to figure out how to do a simple sump setup like this one
Yes. I’m using an Eshopps PF-1200 HOB overflow. It has 2 1” drains. My main drain is just the bulkhead with no stand pipe with a gate valve on it for a full syphon. I made the stand pipe for the second drain slightly taller than the stock one that came with it and closed the gate valve on the main drain slightly until the water level in the overflow was just barely trickling down the second drain with the standpipe.

It is dead silent. The only noise my tank makes is a slight hum from my return pump and protein skimmer pump and hermit crabs tapping their shells on the glass.

Tank is coming along swimmingly. Still battling cyano and low nutrients. Currently having to dose nitrate and phosphate to maintain
Yes it is, well done!
