What kind of diving should I expect in Acapulco? The wife's family is having a get together in Acapulco in May, so I plan to get in a couple of days of diving. What should I expect? Any have-to-sees, etc.?

How lucky you are. I can't wait to go diving again. I haven't been in a year or so, and mostly all Caribbean, never got to Acapulco but I am sure it'll be nice. Here is me at the RMS Rhone. My sons 10 so pretty soon I can get him certified and we can go on dive trips together, can't wait.

My dream job is taking people on dives every day... Living on damp sand and salty air, but man the level of stress would be non existent. No money in it, but...

We've only hity Caribbean so far, and have had some good dives. Cozumel before the hurricanes four or five years ago rocked. St Martin was probably the most coral coverage we have seen. Not as diverse as some places, but the coverage was amazing. Dying to get back in the water... I'll see if I can get some pics one at least one of the dives.

Working on formatting dive pictures now. I didn't take them, so there aren't as many of wildlife as I'd have liked (I'll spare you most of the shots of me and the wife). Really turbid water. Vis was maybe 20 feet (many times less). Nothing like the Caribbean. If in Acapulco, it's worth it to dive and see what it is like, but don't set it as a location for a wek of diving. There are supposedly a lot of wrecks and whatnot to dive, but we hit some shallow dives off La Roqueta. It was just me and my wife the two days we went, so we had a pretty good time.

I'll try to get some pics posted tonight.
