Going to build my own stand for a new 225 I’m getting. I’m going to use rocket engineer’s design but not sure what size cross branching to use. Should I do 2x6 or 2x8 for cross bracing and top frame? I figure I’d have a center brace and then use 2x6’s for the legs and 2x4’s for the bottom frame. I’ll be running a 75 gallon sump under the tank.

I believe the original stand used 2x4 as cross bracing. 2x6 will be fine.
