DIY 90 gallon Aquarium Stand

Just made a 90 gallon aquarium stand with a design I found on here from a few years ago. What do you guys think? I want to keep the front open for easier access to my sump and equipment. I'm trying to figure out if I should put a support in the middle on the back. Also trying to decide if I put in a shelf 3/4 of the way up. I have a tall skimmer, so I'm not sure if I want to or not. Let me know what yall think. Thanks!

Looks good! I made a stand for a 90 gallon (48x24x18) using Rocket Engineers plan which looks like you used too. I didn’t use a vertical support in the back. I would add a horizontal support on the bottom though to help hold up the weight of your stand if you’re planning to dress it with plywood. Unless you’re just putting your sump directly on the floor inside the stand

Here’s a pic of mine. I wrapped the side using 1/2” sanded plywood. Didn’t put anything in the back because I didn’t want obstacles when plumbing an external overflow. Ignore the rats nest in between lol. Working on setting up a controller cabinet

This is definitely the same exact design as mine! I was going to just put the sump and equipment on the floor but your design looks so good I think I might get some plywood to put on the bottom. I already need to get some to put on the top.
