Do you have any more pictures of the stand during the build? I’m looking to build something similar and really like what you did.

I don’t unfortunately. What are you looking for? Maybe I can help?

The frame and panel sides of the cabinet. Is it just a stopped grove with mortise and tenons?
I’ve made a few cabinets but none like that or with feet.

Hi Sethm,

Its essentially 3 face frames with a backing. We used a domino machine - loose tenon is the type of joint I believe. There are lots of videos on the net. Quick and easy cabinet making..

shelf / top of draw and backing of unit made of left over oak finger joint board.

internal cupboard etc is 12mm birch ply with oak edging, the handles are left over bathroom cabinet handles.

I was originally looking at the aqua oak tanks and cabinets... but thought I could make one to the dimensions/design I wanted and save myself quite a bit omoney in the process.

@Jim8o Nice looking build. I am thinking through options for my build. Long story short i will likely be two separated tanks in a 72” tank. One side will have seahorses and a light bio load and different parameters so I am thinking about doing a custom AIO on that side. It looks like you used acrylic for yours, what did use for glue? How did you determine your chamber sizes, etc.?
