Has anyone ever built there own algae magnet? I have a 1" thick acrylic tank and I don't want to spend $200.00 on a magnet lol. I've used neodymium magnets before to make frag racks, I imagine it should be similar. I'm just not sure how strong of a magnet I need. Any advice? Thanks
