Definitely found that out!! I'm trying to figure out how to get the space to mount another CFL on the other side.

I mean, I actually admire your design, it's interesting. If you just figure out a way to wire up the correct LED's (red 660 nanometer), that might work in the compact space you have rather than trying to figure out how to cram another fluorescent in there. Just a thought, though :]

Anybody have some DIY algae scrubber pics/plans?! I just built this, but I want to see some others!
Here my scrubber! I built a manifold for my return plumbing so i could use my return pump to power the scrubber flow! Just like bad company said it took me exactly 5 weeks until first cleaning and now it is growing faster since i cleaned it the first time
