Hello, I'd like to know what you guys think of the following idea.

I've bought a two head (single motor) hydrostatic which is high flow.
I've tested the flow to be 0.6L/min which amount to about 10 gallons / hour.

The idea of using two head on a single motor is that both head should keep the same speed.

I've ran the pump for 45min, and it keep the level the same across two containers with a bit of adjustment using the rodi valve.

I will 3d print an enclosure to protect the motor from splash.

This is the pump: https://www.fruugo.co.uk/dosing-pum...500mlmin-powerful-sucti/p-281874613-627061792

I don't know that motor but I use a stenner pump the same way. just run i on a timer every night. I check salinity every now and again to make sure it's all in line. if it dips or raises a little I just adjust the salinity of my saltwater topoff to compensate a little.

I used to use a masterflex pump with a dual cartridge head for the same reason and I was never able to get the in and out volumes to match. I ended up using valves like you have to restrict flow on the higher volume line and it became a hassle keeping them matching.
I ended up switching to two separate motors so I can adjust the speed individually and I'm much happier with it the way I have it now.

I do have them controlled by my apex though, so that if they are running and one motor doesn't turn on it will detect the wattage is out of the range I specified and turn the working pump off also.
