Is it me or do the LEDs DIY chaeto reactor seem dimmer than what I have seen from others?

My Chaeto would grow with a cheap home depot fixture and bulb. I'm guessing you should be fine. It took a while for my Chaeto to really grow though and when it did it just exploded.
