I use fans to cool my tank. They blow air into the sump. Below are photos of the fans mounted in their holder and of the holder on the sump. The fans in the photo were modified to allow use in the harsh environment. I added RTV around circuit board and motor coils. Now I stared using a IP67 rated fan. I have one currently in use. The third and forth photo is of that fan. I also have two fans to exhaust air from the stand and canopy which also have to be able to withstand the harsh environment. The cooling fans at the sump would not work without exhausting air from the stand where the sump is located. The tank stays below 78.3 as long as there are no issues with the exhaust or cooling fans. In the graph at the bottom the peak on the 23rd was an issue with the exhaust fans which was corrected and the temp came back down. It is a 42 gallon tank so it will work at least on that size tank.
