I use fans to cool my tank. They blow air into the sump. Below are photos of the fans mounted in their holder and of the holder on the sump. The fans in the photo were modified to allow use in the harsh environment. I added RTV around circuit board and motor coils. Now I stared using a IP67 rated fan. I have one currently in use. The third and forth photo is of that fan. I also have two fans to exhaust air from the stand and canopy which also have to be able to withstand the harsh environment. The cooling fans at the sump would not work without exhausting air from the stand where the sump is located. The tank stays below 78.3 as long as there are no issues with the exhaust or cooling fans. In the graph at the bottom the peak on the 23rd was an issue with the exhaust fans which was corrected and the temp came back down. It is a 42 gallon tank so it will work at least on that size tank.

Fans work awesome to cool a tank regardless of size. I always add them to the back of my canopies:

That's a 135, 3 foot by 3 foot by 24 inches. I don't need to do much cooling but they keep it from going above 78 by cycling on and off at the end of every day.

I built something using cheap muffin fans from newegg years ago. I think at the time they were $1 each, so sure they're more now. I made a power cord using a used DC plug. Bought a few connectors from newegg so I could daisy chain together. And mounted them using PVC. Worked like a charm on my 220 keeping the temps down. I'll see if I can find some pics.
