Anyone suggest a gel-like binder when making your own fish food?

So finely finely diced seafood can bind together with POWDER....and be fish-safe that they consume

Basically looking for a jello-like binder so even FINE POWER gets eaten and not lost in the water column

Is this for DIY frozen food, what are the ingredients you have so far, and finally, why are you wanting to "bind" the food?

An old thread...but I'm looking at this as well. Did this work out well? And have you since found a better alternative or preferred brands that the fish responded more favorably?

I'm actually looking at a couple of better alternatives to help with the binding. I was using either a bit of the actual masstick before, or FOCUS from seachem. But I want to try three alternatives that may make it stickier as well as retain its form integrity longer in the water. I'm looking at:

1. Vegetable Glycerol
2. Agar powder - seaweed variant
3. Sodium Alginate

These are all food grade. Masstick uses Glycerol in its new moist Easy Masstick. I've purchased some Agar powder, simply because it's derived from seaweed. I'll record the mixture I use with using Agar powder.

Did you have any luck with the agar powder or find another recipe that works? I've been looking for something similar, and this would help me a lot.
