Hey guys. I have this current led

I want to hang it from ceiling because it sits too close to the tank. But don’t know what I can use to get this done since there are no hanging apparatus whatsoever. Any thoughts

If you can take it apart, drill a hole on each side and use threaded eyelets, washers and nuts. Braided stainless cable or chain to ceiling. Threaded hooks with expansion nuts.

If you got the mount, the brackets are removable so you would have purpose built holders on each end of the light and could rig a hanging kit to those.

Hey no worries, I had the mount with the 18" light and was always nervous it was too much torsion weight on the glass(10 gallon so thin glass), especially when I bumped it during maintenance, never even thought about hanging it till I saw your post.

That really does look so much better than the arm sticking out over the tank, you should write up how you attached the hanging kit I think a lot of people would like this option. And those wire feet pull out with a little wiggling force
