How can I mount this T5HO without T-tracks?

Hi there, I recently got my hands on an old AquaticLife LF2-30 (manual archive linked here). Let’s just say, it’s a little heavier than I expected it to be LOL but the seller didn’t include the original feet (no luck finding them online either) and even if they did I’d prefer to hang it. I have these brackets from Seaside Aquatics that were in the back of my LFS that I was originally anticipating using (imaged below) that, if possible, I would love to find a modified solution to use them over the tank.

Anyone have any ideas or can point me in the right direction? The light’s manual mentions a hanging kit, but of course the instructions/details are in another pamphlet that I can’t find online. I’m confused where the actual hanging kit is supposed to attach to in the first place, since there are no T tracks or inlets to suspend from.

Any help would be appreciated:)

Email aquatic life. They have hanging kits and I’m pretty sure they are standardized across all the models. There should be two t-slots that traverse across the top of the fixture. They are pretty slim in comparison to a traditional t-slot. Might have to remove the end cap to install the hangers into the slots. They used to have excellent customer service but it’s been years since I’ve dealt with them so things could have changed.

There’s no tracks on the top even after dissembling the housing. This line and unit mounts from the bottom, to my limited understanding from the manual at least. I can only imagined the suspension kit would hug the light in some fashion to reach the mounting points. I’ve reached out to AquaticLife and so far have yet to hear back. I’m a little worried they’ll refuse support since the light is old and discontinued. But we will see!

My unit is a 4 lamp, and is completely smooth on top unfortunately. Even the cracks are just an indent. Its specific manual still mentions suspension somehow

I think I got it! for anyone else who might have this issue in the future: The four large 6mm screws are intended as hanging ports, just screw in the mount in their place. They aren’t structurally important to the light even though you can’t tell that with simple disassembly (covered by a bolted housing on the other side). Dug through the Big Al’s channel and found a specific model video that wasn’t on the search for me before. Luckily the kit I have has 6mm inlets so I’m just going to the hardware store and getting fittings. Old Orphek 4-port hanging kit is finally gonna come in handy. LOL
