Ok so I'm working on a new built and I'm stuck on the mounting of the lights.
I have 3 xr30 with a couple of xr15s that I want to hang. Also planning to do T5s supplemental light with the radions. I don't want to use the RMS arms because I like to have the top of the tank free of any obstruction on the top.

I was thinking some type of frame so I could mount everything to it and attach it to the ceiling with pulleys so if I need to raise it I can rase the entire frame at once.
I've been searching for a while with not much luck.

Does anyone have any ideas of pre-made frames or materials I could use so I can try to build this.

Ita for a 180g 6' tank.

80/20 aluminum. Build it to your specs. I built mine and hung it with stainless steel bicycle derailleur cable. Installed a tubular shade motor that has WiFi so I can raise and lower with my phone or iPad.

Ok that sounds along the lines of what I want to build.
