Hey guys I need some advice... So im pretty new to this and am trying to replace a bulb in a mazspect g2 unit. Each driver is 1000ma...... so i retrofitted this to work by using the maxspect wire and soldering it to teh Cree LED that i replaced teh semiled with..... what has resulted is interesting. teh led lights but is only half as bright as it should be... can anyone give me an explanation for this? The blue XPE that I put in is the same 1000 ma as teh semiled i replaced. Im stumped....could it be the solder i used isnt conductive enough?

I think I figured this out. I bought xte which are 1500 ma and 5 watt. Apparently driving these at 3 watt and 700 ma they are dimmer than a 3 watt 1000 ma. Weird
