Not so diy but a custom design with push-pull window and custom cut to size for my waterbox cube 20. Im retiring my acrylic lid with flip window which sagged quite a bit and broke an arm after a drop.

The new lid is made of 8mm polyethylene boards, which is a lot less prone to sag, but can easily stretch. The design has a base frame and a push-pull window for feeding sitting on top. Screen is hand netted with clear fish line.

Costs ~30 AUD for the lid and another ~35 AUD shipped to Australia 😅
