Looking for pictures and information on any of your DIY light stands I'm replacing the stock hood on a biocube 32 with a Viparspectra 165w. Hanging from the ceiling is not an option.

Can you hang it from the wall? My tank is a bit bigger than 32 gallons, but I hung mine on the wall with flat panel tv mounts and a mounting bracket I had to make due to the size and weight of a 6' hood.

This is what I went with for anyone that cares, not the most aestically pleasing stand but it's not that bad at all and I'm happy. I needed something cheap and quick for now. Its 3/4in pvc pipe. I did not use glue for the fittings they fit pretty snug. The light will sit 7in off the water. I'm painting it black now
