Diy magnet cleaner strength?

Looking to build a few nice quality wood magnet cleaners. Anyone have an idea of how strong the neodymium magnets will have to be for half inch or a little thicker glass?

They are very strong. I would guess one about the size of 2 quarters on inside and outside of glass would hold.

I made one. My glass is 3/8" and I used the NSN0669. Make sure you seal the wet side very well. If water gets in, the corrosion from the rare earth will not be kind to your livestock.
