Reef Octopus Octo Pulse 4 Outside Magnet Mount

[Maui The God]

Hello everyone, Im on the hunt for an Octo Pulse 4 outside magnet. i cant find one anywhere. im hoping someone out there might have a spare or one from a pump not working that theyd be willing to part with. i know i can get the extra strong magnet but im really not trying to drop $90 on it.

if i have no luck there does anyone know of alternatives for that magnet? i have 1/2 inch glass. i know the octo pulse 2 magnet says it can support up to 1/2 ich but im worried that its really pushing it.

why not just make your own? check out this item and below thread, you wouldn't have to worry about waterproofing since its for dryside.
