I've been interested in making my own rock/aquascape for awhile. In particular I like what aquarocks and west mariculture make. I've reached out to each to find out how they make it. But I understand them not responding. I just can't pay what they are asking because I feel like it would cost way less and not be to difficult to make my own. Does anyone know what you can use? Concrete is cheap and common but heavy and the curing time is a negative plus to make the shapes I want you kinda need a mold. I'm looking for something almost like clay but reef safe.

YouTube is your friend. Portland cement, crushed shells (check your local feed store), crushed coral. Use sand to make your templates. It‘s time consuming.
