So ive been looking at doing a DIY skimmer for a prodject tank coming up.....
im seeing people using Uni seals and Pluming rubber on some skimmers.... is that reef safe ??? I dont want to make one to find out that i just contaminated my water in the long run. Not really the point of having a skimmer....
Also Can i scale down a skimmer for use in a smaller tank ? Im thinking of making one using a maxijet for the pump... ( I have one on hand)
