Basic 2x6 top and 2x4 bottom. Skin with 3/4 melamine board with side control pannel.

Oh haha the front side of the stand has 2 big doors. Couldnt take pix of it because its facing the patio door atm.looks great! how do you get inside? are the panels removable?

its color acrylic rod, you can find them on ebay fairly cheap. you can also buy the vinyl strip if you're looking for square one. Thanks, my current tank is build the same way and going for 3.5 years with no issue.Very cool look. Seal up the edges of the melamine REALLY well. Even at that I expect you'll have problems with moisture absorption and swelling at some point. I have chip board panels around mine too but they are fully encased in Formica - so far so good.
