I have a 3/8 inch gap when I set the tank on the stand. To determine why I measured the corners and where 3 are 34 5/8 one is 35. I can pull up the top and either plane the supports or I could put shins under the top instead. Any advice on what possible actions I can take to correct.

Thanks!

I'd shorten the one rogue leg by 3/8 and be done with it. You could shim under the top of the stand but my retentive nature abhors shimming...

Definitely want to get it done right before you get the tank wet. Headaches follow shortcuts in this hobby like a shadow.
Shims will grow less and less appealing once you start to enjoy the hard work paying off

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the advice!

I'm certainly not opposed to some manual labor to get it right so looks like I'm breaking it down to build it back up.

You might also think about adding 1/2" or 1" foamboard to the top of that stand, (between tank and stand top) it helps with leveling.
